Fine cured Meats and Cheeses
Our cured meats are made with the highest quality meat from local farms that adhere to strict animal welfare standards. The cheeses we offer are the result of skilful processing of fresh milk from the Nebrodi mountains, collected daily from local pastures. The Nebrodi black pig and its derivatives
The Nebrodi Black Pig breed, native to Sicily, is widespread in the Nebrodi mountain range. These pigs, recognisable by their dark coat, are rustic and hardy, accustomed to living in a semi-wild state and feeding on acorns and roots from the undergrowth. Extensive farming gives their meat a superior quality, appreciated for its intense flavour and tenderness. This breed contributes to the preservation of biodiversity and Sicilian gastronomic traditions.
Suino Nero dei Nebrodi cured meats are renowned for their quality and distinctive flavour, the result of natural farming methods and centuries-old tradition. Among the most prized cured meats are prosciutto, aged for at least 18 months, capocollo flavoured with local spices, pancetta with a balanced ratio of meat to fat, sausage seasoned with salt, pepper and wild fennel, and soppressata made with premium cuts of meat. Each product reflects the richness of the Nebrodi territory, offering an authentic, high-quality gastronomic experience.
